Cuttack: Odisha Senior Men Team’s Head Coach Mr. Dinesh Mongia arrived at Odisha today. In order to disseminate his future plans regarding the Odisha Senior Men’s Cricket team he addressed a Press Meet today at the OCA Conference Hall-2 at 6:00 PM, Mr. Subrat Kumar Behera (CEO, OCA) was also present in the press meet.
To begin with he thanked the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), President, Secretary & all other Officer Bearers of OCA for entrusting him with this job of being the Head Coach of OCA. He went on to speak about the association’s vision of reaching the Ranji Trophy Finals.
Mongia emphasised on developing cricketers which will eventually develop cricket in Odisha. He also spoke about the upcoming OCA’s Talent Hunt Camp for Spinners which will give direct opportunity to all potential spinners throughout the state & help Odisha find good spinners for the future.
To end with he said he is very confident about Odisha Team as the team has potential which they resonated by defeating West Bengal the finalists of Ranji Trophy 2022-23 at Eden Gardens. He hopes the Odisha players will perform to the best of their abilities in the upcoming seasons.
