Bhubaneswar: The State government has rescheduled the timings of classes in the interest of the students as the heatwave continues to prevail in several parts of Odisha.
Reportedly, the Odisha government on Wednesday ordered schools to start morning classes from April 2.
As per the notification issued by the department, the timings have been revised to mitigate the effects of the heat wave situation on students during the summer season.
As per the decision, students from standard 1 to 8 will have to attend their classes from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. Similarly, classes for standard 9 to 12 will be conducted from 7 am to 11:30 am.
