Odisha Reports 9,889 New COVID-19 Cases In 24-Hr

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally mounted to 4,89,641 as 9,889 more people tested positive for the infection in the past 24 hours, according to the State I&PR department.

Of the new cases, 5,611 were reported from quarantine centres and 4,278 detected during contact tracing, the data showed.

Khurda recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 1331, followed by Sundargarh (1137), and Cuttack (790).
