Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally mounted to 3,38,405 on Wednesday as 82 more people tested positive for the infection, according to the State I&PR department.
Of the new cases, 48 were reported from quarantine centres and 34 detected during contact tracing.
Mayurbhanj district recorded the highest number of fresh cases at 11, followed by Khurda at nine, Bargarh and Sundargarh at seven each. Here’s the district-wise break-up of new cases:

Odisha now has 638 active cases, while 66 people were cured of the disease during the day, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,35,796.
