Odisha Reports 72 New COVID-19 Cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally rose to 3,35,620 on Sunday as 72 more people tested positive for the infection, according to the State I&PR department.

The new cases were detected in 18 of the state’s 30 districts, with 43 reported from different quarantine centres, while the remaining 29 are local contact cases.

Sundargarh district recorded the highest of 14 new cases followed by Angul (10) and Jharsuguda (7).

4. Balangir: 2
5. Boudh: 1
6. Cuttack: 5
7. Deogarh: 1
8. Gajapati: 2
9. Ganjam: 4
10. Jajpur: 3
11. Jharsuguda: 7
12. Kalahandi: 3
13. Khurda: 1
14. Mayurbhanj: 4
15. Nawarangpur: 1
16. Puri: 3
17. Sambalpur: 2
18. Sundargarh: 14

Currently, the state has 816 active COVID-19 cases, while 3,32,842 patients have recovered from the highly infectious disease.
