Odisha Reports 65 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally Rises To 3,38,323

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload mounted to 3,38,323 on Tuesday as 65 more people tested positive for the infection, according to the State I&PR department.

Of the fresh cases, 37 were reported from quarantine centres and 28 detected during contact tracing.

Sundargarh districts recorded 15 new cases each, followed by Mayurbhanj (9). Here’s the district-wise break-up of new cases: 

1. Angul: 4
2. Balasore: 5
3. Balangir: 3
4. Cuttack: 5
5. Deogarh: 2
6. Ganjam: 3
7. Jajpur: 5
8. Jharsuguda: 4
9. Khurda: 5
10. Mayurbhanj: 9
11. Nuapada: 1
12. Puri: 3
13. Sundargarh: 15
14. State Pool: 1

Odisha now has 622 active cases, while 3,35,730 people have recovered from the disease.

The state has so far conducted over 8661732 sample tests for COVID-19.
