Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload on Monday mounted to 3, 32, 106 after 244 more people tested positive for the infection, a health department official said.
The new cases were detected in 25 of the state’s 30 districts, with 142 reported from different quarantine centres, while the remaining 102 are local contact cases.
Sambalpur district recorded the highest of 37 fresh cases followed by Bargarh (23) and Sundergarh (22).

Currently, Odisha has 2, 118 active COVID-19 cases while 3,28,043 patients have recovered from the highly infectious disease.
The state has so far conducted over 72,01, 736 sample tests for COVID-19, the official said.
