Odisha Reports 157 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally Rises To 3,33,723

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Wednesday reported 157 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally to 3, 33, 723, according to the State I&PR department.

The new cases were detected in 25 of the state’s 30 districts, with 93 reported from different quarantine centres, while the remaining 64 are local contact cases.

Angul district recorded the highest of 36 new cases followed by Sundargarh (28) and Khurda (25).

Currently, the state has 1, 717 active COVID-19 cases, while 3, 30, 051 patients have recovered from the highly infectious disease.

The state has so far tested 74, 52, 020 samples for COVID-19.
