Odisha Reports 122 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally Rises To 3,33,566

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Tuesday reported 122 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally to 3, 33, 566, according to the State I&PR department.

The new cases were detected in 19 of the state’s 30 districts, with 72 reported from different quarantine centres, while the remaining 50 are local contact cases.

Sundergarh district recorded the highest of 26 new cases followed by Sambalpur (23) and Puri (19).

Currently, the state has 1, 810 active COVID-19 cases, while 3, 29, 801 patients have recovered from the highly infectious disease.

The state has so far tested 74.26 lakh samples for COVID-19, the data released by the I&PR department said.
