Odisha Police To Ensure Smooth Movement Of Medical Oxygen To Deficit States

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Police has made special arrangements to ensure uninterrupted and fast movement of Medical Oxygen to the other States facing deficit.

According to press note issued by the State Police headquarters, a Special Cell has been formed today under ADG Law & Order Y K Jethwa as nodal officer for coordinated action for loading and transportation of Medical Oxygen by Odisha to needy States.

“Supplies are already underway. A dedicated green corridor for oxygen-carrying vehicles will be set up, wherever necessary, along with police escort for inter-state coordination and smooth movement,” the press note read.

Accordingly, the District SPs/DCPs and Range DIGs/IGs/CP will supervise the movement personally within their jurisdictions.

“We are committed towards smooth and prompt movement of Medical Oxygen to needy States,” the Odisha Police said.
