Cuttack: While several speculations regarding the CHSE Plus II results continued to surface in Odisha, it is being said that the pass percentage in the annual Plus II exam will be more than 90 per cent this year.
CHSE Controller of Exams has cited the alternative assessment criteria as a reason for the same.
On the other hand, more ex-regular students are also expected to clear the test this year as compared to last year.
The Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha has announced the evaluation criteria for plus two (Class 12) students. The students will be evaluated based on their marks in Class 10.
Scores will be awarded to the regular examinees in theory papers/theory components of papers on the basis of the performance of the examinee in the 10th Board examination. For this purpose, a detailed subject mapping has been prepared. The scores in theory papers for ex-regular examinees will be awarded on the basis of their performance in the previous CHSE examination in which they had appeared. Scores will be awarded in the practical/ project component of a paper both for regular and ex-regular examinees at their higher secondary school level.
The result is likely to be released in the second week of August. Once released, students may check their results on the official website of CHSE at orissaresults.nic.in.
