Bhubaneswar: Odisha experienced cold wave conditions following a drop in minimum temperature on Friday night.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday informed 19 places in Odisha recorded minimum (night) temperature below 15 degree Celsius.
Phulbani in Kandhamal district recorded lowest minimum temperature of 10. 5 degrees. The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded minimum temperature of 15 and 14.5 degree Celsius, respectively.
While the minimum temperature at G Udayagiri stood at 10 degree C, Phulbani and Daringibadi recorded 10.5 degree C each. Similiguda recorded 10.9 degree C last night.
Similarly, Kirei recorded 9.5 degree C, Koraput 12.5 degree C, Angul 12.6 degree C, Keonjhar 11 degree C, Bhawanipatna 14.2 degree C, Balasore 14.7 degree C, Baripada 14 degree C, Deogarh 11.7 degree C, Sonepur 13 degree C, Bargarh 13.4 degree C, Balangir 13.6 degree C, Jharsuguda 11.2 degree C, Sundargarh 12 degree C, Hirakud 12.8 degree C, Kendrapara 14 degree C, Chandbali 14.9 degree C, and Sambalpur 14.3 degree C.
Besides, Dhenkanal, Nabarangpur, Bhadrak and Titilagarh stood at 15 degree C in the past 24 hours.
