Bhubaneswar: Over 15,000 Class X students in Odisha will appear for the offline Matric exam that began today and will continue till 5th August.
Several Covid norms, including sanitization and thermal screening, are being held at the centres.
The form fill-up process for the Matric offline examination was conducted between July 5 -14. No examination fee was charged from the students for filling the form.
The BSE had earlier said that the Class 10 examination for both regular and ex-regular students will be held simultaneously in one sitting from 10 am to 12 noon.
However, there will be separate question papers for regular and ex-regular students in general science and social science subjects. The students will be provided extra 15 minutes during mathematics examination.
It may be noted that board had earlier published the Class 10 2021 results based on the alternative assessment method on June 25. However, after the students and their parents alleged the assessment method as faulty, the BSE announced that students who are not satisfied with the marks awarded to them, can undertake the matriculation exam in offline mode.
