Odisha Logs 89 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally At 3,36,924

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload mounted to 3,36,924 on Thursday as 89 more people tested positive for the infection, according to the State I&PR department.

Of the new cases, 53 were reported from quarantine centres and 36 detected during contact tracing.

Sambalpur district reported the highest number of fresh cases at 14, followed by Balasore at 9.

During the day, 90 patients were cured of the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,34,333.

Odisha now has 623 active cases, while 3,34,333 patients have so far recovered from the disease.
