Odisha lockdown: 245 cases registered for violating orders

Bhubaneswar: At least 245 cases have been registered in the State for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19.

This was informed by Odisha Police through a notification.

“From the morning of 01.04.2020 to morning of 02.04.2020, 245 nos of cases have been registered by Police in the State for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19,” the notification read.

Out of these cases, 229 numbers of cases are registered for violation of lockdown whereas 6 cases have been registered for violation of “Home Quarantine”. Remaining 10 cases have been registered for other related issues.
