Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health Minister Naba Kisore Das has appealed to the people residing in villages to not to discriminate and accept the people who are coming back from quarantine centres.
Das on Sunday shared a video message on his Twitter urging the people to allow them happily to their villages and homes.
The minister said: “The migrant Odia workers returning to their village with the help of the government need help, cooperation and above all love and affection. He said the fight is with coronavirus and not with humans.”
He further urged the sarpanches and local representatives to hold meeting and dialogues with local residents to educate people on the subject.
Das assured the people that Odisha has sufficient stock of PPE kits, masks and health equipment.
