Odisha Govt Transfers 38 Doctors To Different Medical Colleges And Hosps

Bhubaneswar:  The Odisha Government has transferred as many as 38 doctors posted at different medical colleges and hospitals across the state.

According to a notification issued by the State Health and Family Welfare Department, three Associate Professors have been transferred to new locations.

While Dr Manjulata Dash, Associate Professors, Skin & VD VIMSAR, has been transferred to SCBMCH in Cuttack, Dr Manoranjan Behera, Associate Professor, Medicine, BBMCH, Bolangir posted to SCBMCH.  Similarly, Dr Namita Mohapatra, Associate Professor, Medicine, SCBMCH has been transferred as such to BBMCH, Bolangir.

The state government has promoted 13 Associate Professors to the rank of Professor for a period of one year and posted them in different medical colleges across Odisha.

“With effect from the date of their joining to the post, or till their appointment as made regular after consultation with the OPSC, or till Superannuation, or until further orders whichever is earlier,” the notifications stated.

The state government has also promoted 15 Assistant Professors to the rank of Associate Professors for a period of one year and posted them in different medical colleges across Odisha.

Moreover, the Superintendent in-charges of PRMCH in Baripada & SLNMCH in Koraput, three Professors and two Associate Professors have also been transferred to different places.
