Odisha Govt To Recruit 10,000 Contractual Teachers Through CBT Mode


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is all set to recruit 10,000 contractual teachers in various government and government-aided schools through entrance test in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

A proposal in this regard has been sent to the School and Mass Education Department by the Directorate of Secondary Education seeking approval.

Once approved, this would be the first of its kind recruitment drive in Odisha, where a large number of teachers would be selected simultaneously based computer based test (CBT).

The vacancy includes 4,445 PET, Hindi and Sanskrit teacher posts and 6,000 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts. The state government is likely to initiate the recruitment process soon.

While the Finance Department has approved the proposal for the appointment of 4,445 PET, Hindi and Sanskrit teachers, the same for 6,000 Trained Graduate Teacher posts was underway.
