Bhubaneswar: The School & Mass Education Minister Sameer Dash on Wednesday released the free examination guide for Class X students ‘Pariksha Darpan’.
In order to reduce the stress of the students, the state government had decided to come up with a guide book which will help student s to prepare for the upcoming crucial board examination.
‘Parikshya Darpan’, a 700-page guide book contains examinations’ probable questions and answer sets. It will be distributed to around 6.20 lakh students across the State.
The test-paper has been compiled after necessary rationalisation of the syllabus of the Matric students.
Worth mentioning, the annual matriculation examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), will be held from May 3, 2021.
Keeping in view of the COVID pandemic, the department has already reduced 30 percent of the course curriculum. Besides, the students will have to appear for the examination for 80 marks of questions, while the evaluation will be done from a total of 100 marks.
The students will answer 50 marks (objective type questions)in OMR sheets, while they will answer another 30 marks (subjective type questions) in question-cum-answer booklet. They will get four sets of questions for some subjects like language papers, math, science, and social sciences, while a single set for some other subjects.
