Odisha govt provides 1st incentive of Rs 5.17 lakh to PPE kit supplier


Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today provided the first incentive of Rs 5.17 lakh to PPE kit supplier for delivering 1000 PPE kits within a week of the purchase order issued on 20.3.2020.

Odisha government’s spokesperson on COVID-19, Subroto Bagchi, had yesterday announced that the Odisha State Medical Corporation will provide incentives for early delivery of medicines and medical equipment like 50% extra for delivery in 7 days, 25% extra for delivery in 15 days and 10% extra for delivery in 30 days.”

Bagchi said the movement of vehicles carrying essential goods will be continued without any hindrance during the lockdown. Earlier, he had said that IFFCO contributed essential medical equipment like portable ventilators, masks, and sanitizers to combat COVID-19.
