Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health and Family Welfare department wrote to all district collectors to adhere to Health Ministry’s guidelines that no COVID vaccination will be carried out at places apart from government and private vaccination centre Covid vaccination centres.
Besides, NHCVC for elderly differently-abled persons & work-place vaccination centre at government offices will also be available.
Odisha H&FW also asked collectors & other officials to opt for Near to Home Covid Vaccination Centre (NHCVC) that should be planned for elderly & differently-abled instead of door to door vaccination.
The concerned officials have also been asked start meticulous planning at the earliest for smooth execution of vaccination at NHCVCs.
Odisha Health department also directed to ‘ensure that the beneficiaries who have taken an on-line appointment through CoWIN shall be given preference for availing vaccination over the ones availing vaccination through on-site registration & appointments’.
