Odisha CM extends greetings on Ramzan

Bhubaneswar: As the holy month of Ramzan or Ramadan began, Odisha Chief Minister extended his greetings to the Muslim community of the state.

The CM took to Twitter and wished peace, prosperity and good health for people of the minority community on the auspicious occasion.

Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar which signifies spirituality and unity in the community. The days observes with community prayers ‘Taraweeh’ and the fasting is ended with ‘Iftar’ with families, friends and relatives after sundown. However, due to the COVD-19 outbreak, this would probably be the first time that Muslims across the nation will have to make the Ramzan celebration quite a private affair within their houses.
