Odisha CM congratulates shuttler Rutaparna Panda for making into squad for Badminton Asia Mixed Team Ch’ships
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday congratulated Indian shuttler from Odisha, Rutaparna Panda for making it to the Indian badminton team for the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships.
Patnaik through his Twitter handle also wished luck to the badminton team that will represent the country in the tournament.

In the absence of top shuttlers Saina Nehwal, P V Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth, World No. 24 H S Prannoy will lead a 13-member Indian badminton team at the Tong Yun Kai Cup 2019.
The six-member men’s squad includes Prannoy along with Sourabh Verma, MR Arjun, Shlok Ramchandran, Arun George, Sanyam Shukla.
Nationals semi-finalist, 19-year-old Ashmita Chaliha will lead the women’s squad.
Besides Chaliha, Vaishnavi Bhale, Shikha Gautam, Ashwini K Bhat, Rutaparna Panda, Arathi Sara Sunil, UK Mithula are part of the squad.
The second edition of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships will be held at Hong Kong from March 19-24.
