Odisha CM Condoles Demise of Ex-Min Bijayshree Routray

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the death of former Minister Bijayshree Routray.

In a condolence message, the Odisha Chief Minister described late Routray as a popular politician and a benevolent figure.

“As a minister of the state government, he successfully took up responsibilities of various important departments. His demise is a huge loss to all of us,” Naveen said.

The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and wished for the departed soul to rest in peace.

After receiving the news of Bijayshree Routray’s death, Chief Minister spoke to his son and MLA Bishnubrata Routray over the phone and expressed his deepest condolences on the death of the former minister.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also condoled the death of the ex-minister. He took to Twitter and expressed deep grief over the demise of Bijayshree Routray.

Pradhan said that Routray’s contribution toward politics will be remembered for eternity. He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and wished for the departed soul to rest in peace.
