Bhubaneswar: On Tuesday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi addressed the ongoing debate regarding the establishment of a bench of the Orissa High Court. This clarification came in response to the reactions triggered by his earlier statement, which suggested there was no justification for setting up a High Court bench in any part of the state.
Majhi emphasized that the issue is still under consideration and reassured the public that the state government is committed to ensuring speedy justice for all. His previous remarks had sparked significant reactions from various political parties and organizations advocating for a permanent High Court bench in Western Odisha.
The Chief Minister’s clarification aims to quell the unrest and assure citizens that the government is actively reviewing the matter to find a viable solution.
