Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy has lauded the efforts of trainers of Cuttack ITI who have developed automatic sanitizer dispenser.
The trainers of electronics and wielding wing of the ITI have invented two types of machines-one is automated and the other one is foot operated.
The automated machine will be helpful for the users as one need not to touch the sanitizing bottle. As one places one’s hand beneath the slot, the required quantity of sanitizer comes out automatically. A sensor is attached to the machine which does this.
In the case of the other machine, one can get the required quantity of sanitizer by pressing the lever of the foot-operated sanitizing machine. The assistant training officers of the ITI Archana Sahu and Sanjay Kumar Kar along with their colleagues have demonstrated the machines to the chief secretary at Lok Seva Bhavan on Saturday.
The automatic sanitizer dispensers have been set up at the second-floor conference hall and in the corridor of the general administration wing of Lok Seva Bhavan for the use of employees.
