Odisha Assembly Adjourned Amid Ruckus By Opposition MLAs

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly was adjourned till 11:30 AM on Friday after Opposition MLAs created ruckus over Mamita Meher murder case.

The opposition Congress and the BJP members stalled the business of the house when it assembled for the day at 10. 30 AM demanding the dismissal of MoS, Home, Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged close relation with the prime accused in the case.

Unable to transact any business, Speaker S N Patro adjourned the House till 11.30 AM

The BJP legislators sprinkle Gangajal and cow-dung water outside House.

MLA Mohan Majhi said, “House has become impure due to entry of minister Dibya Shankar Mishra”.
