Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Transport Department today fixed maximum hiring charges for various types of ambulance services across the State.
Below are the hiring charges for for Patient Transport Ambulance (PTA), Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance and Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulance operating across the state (for first 10 kms):
The proposed maximum rates include oxygen, ambulance equipment, PPE kit, gloves, mask, face shield, sanitization, driver, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where required.
However, for administration of any medication (injectable/oral) including oxygen onboard, the additional cost is to be charged as per actual.
