Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view of heatwave condition across Odisha, the State government has declared closure of all Anganwadi Centre (AWCs) till April 30.
In a letter to all district Collectors, the Women and Child Development (W &CD) Department directed the officials to take necessary action in this regard.
On Monday, the School and Mass Education Department informed that closure of the schools will not affect conduct of Class 10 and 12 board examinations, scheduled to begin on April 29 and April 28, respectively.
Earlier, the state Government decided to curtail the summer vacation for school students to complete the syllabus.
