Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Thursday reported 222 new COVID-19 cases, pushing the coronavirus tally in the state to 3, 32, 763, a health department official said.
The new COVID-19 cases were detected in 24 of the 30 districts of Odisha, with 127 reported from different quarantine centres, while the remaining 95 are local contact cases.
Angul district recorded the highest number of new cases at 28, followed by Sundergarh (24) and Jharsuguda (23).

The state now has 2,192 active COVID-19 cases while as many as 3, 28, 622 patients have recovered from the disease.
The state has tested 72,92, 068 samples for COVID-19 so far.
