Srinagar: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is on his outreach mission in Kashmir and visiting Anantnag to review arrangements for Eid, reports said.
Doval was seen on Saturday interacting with locals in Anantnag, a terror-hit district in south Kashmir.
The National Security Advisor has been camping in Kashmir to review the security situation after Centre’s move to revoke Article 370 and bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories.
Doval was seen interacting with traders who were selling sheep for sacrifice on Eid which will be celebrated across India on Monday.
The NSA visited the sensitive downtown area in Srinagar and interacted with locals and security personnel on Friday.
