No Classroom Teaching At Colleges, Universities From April 27: Odisha Higher Edu Dept


Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Tuesday informed that all the classroom teaching for UG and PG in all higher education institutions will remain suspended from April 27 till May 2.

The decision was taken on account of severe heatwave conditions across the State.

However, other activities at the higher educational institutions such as examination, evaluation, administrative work, research work etc. will continue, informed Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government.

Earlier on Monday, the government had announced closure of all schools in the state from April 26 to 30 due to the heatwave.
