Bhubaneswar: An abandoned newborn girl was brought to Subhadra Mahtab Seva Sadan situated at Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar after being rescued from the train bogie in Khurda district.
Reportedly, a passenger spotted the newborn baby wailing in the train Falaknuma Express and alerted the Railway Protection Force (RPF) control room about the same.
On being informed, RPF along with Government Railway Police (GRP) officer reached the spot and rescued the newborn baby.
Later, the seven-month-old girl was handed over to Society Children who took her for a health checkup. As the girl child was found infected with coronavirus, she was presented in a virtual mode.
Thereafter, she was shifted to Subhadra Mahtab Seva Sadan in Khandagiri for better care.
