New Delhi: Draupadi Murmu, the presidential candidate for BJP-led NDA has arrived in Delhi on Wednesday (June 23, 2022) to file the nomination papers today (June 24). She is the first presidential candidate from Odisha of a major political party or alliance.
Besides, the NDA partners, including Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United), Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik, The YSR Congress led by Jagan Mohan Reddy has also announced its support to the candidature of Murmu.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which is running a coalition government with Congress in Jharkhand, is also expected to support the candidature of NDA’s nominee for the post of President of India.
The NDA presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu has sought cooperation from everyone for the upcoming election and will kickstart her campaign from June 25 to seek support from the political parties to help her be elected as the first person of the country.
