Bhubaneswar: National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled (NCSCDA), Directorate General of Employment (DGE), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India has successfully organised a free mini job fair/placement drive for both PwD s& Non-PwDs today in its office campus at Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar.
This event has been made successful with the active support of Kumar Sahoo, Assistant Director, Sonalika Suman, Psychologist & other staff of the centre. At the said job fair, vacancies of different profiles, such as field credit officer, sales executive, tele-caller & delivery executive etc were there.
A total number of 65PwDs/non PwDs job seekers participated in the said event belonging to different districts of the state to fill 250 vacancies from which 35 jobseekers got shortlisted. Out of the total 65 job seekers, 9 job seekers participated through the www.ncs.gov.in job portal.
Assistant Director of NCSCDA, Sujit Kumar Sahoo congratulated and thanked all the employers for making the event successful. He also congratulated all the shortlisted job seekers and urged them to popularise this kind of job fair among other job seekers of the state so that more & more jobseekers could take the benefit of that. Mr Sahoo requested all the employers to participate in future job fairs to be organised by this centre and recruit both PwDs & Non-PwDs to ensure an inclusive workplace at every organisation.
