Koraput: NBCC (India) Ltd announced on Tuesday, December 10, that it has received ₹432 crore from the Central University of Odisha. The project provides comprehensive project consultancy services for constructing a net-zero sustainable campus at the Central University in Sunabeda Odisha.
Last week, the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, HSCC (India) Ltd, secured orders ₹600 crore including two from Maharashtra’s National Health. Additionally, HSCC India obtained a construction worth ₹213 crore from Motilal Nehru in New.
Furthermore, the stated that it would develop a 10-acre industrial plot in Noida, with a tentative project cost of approximately ₹600, in collaboration with the Housing and Urban CorporationHUDCO).
Last month, NBCC secured an order worth ₹316 crore from the Odisha government for upgrading primary hostels in various locations across the state. In a stock exchange filing, the company reported that the order was from the Odisha government’s & SC development, minorities, and backward classes welfare department, and the hostel upgrades fall under the state sector.
The company’s net for the quarter increased by 52.8% from the period last year, rising ₹125.1 crores from ₹81.9 crores, while revenue for the period reached ₹2,458.7 crores.
NBCC’s Earnings Before Interest, Depreci, and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter was ₹100 crore, reflecting a 4.6% increase in the same quarter last year., the EBITDA margin narrowed year-on-year by 50 basis points, dropping to 4.1% from 4.6% during the same last year.
As of 11 am on Tuesday, December 10, NBCC shares were trading 0.25% higher at ₹103.59 per share, marking an impressive gain of 89.83% for the year to date.
