Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be hospitalized soon for a cardiac procedure in London, media reports said.
Sharif is undergoing treatment of multiple diseases including coronary artery disease (CAD) which is the narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries due to which the heart does not receive adequate amount of blood.
Media reports said the doctors have also said that the procedure will help them determine if Sharif needs a heart operation or a bypass. His personal physician Adnan Khan has also said that doctors are going through Sharif’s medical history to ascertain the future course of action.
Khan was, however, not available to comment on the report of Sharif’s possible hospitalization.
