Naveen to visit Ganjam, Gajapati dists today


Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Ganjam and Gajapati districts today to inaugurate a slew of developmental projects and lay the foundation stones for others.

According to the schedule, Patnaik will visit Gopalpur, Sheragada and Samakhemundi areas of Ganjam district and Garabandha of Gajapati districts.

The CM will also inaugurate the second berth of Gopalpur Port in his visit to Ganjam worth Rs 1400 crore.

Among others, State Minister of Transport and Commerce Nrusingh Charan Sahu, Berhampur MP Sidhanta Mahapatra, Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi, and Chhatrapur MLA Priyanshu Pradhan will attend the event at Gopalpur Port.

Later in the day, Patnaik will address a state-level KALIA farmers’ congregation in Gajapati district. During the event, he would launch projects worth over Rs 582 crore.
