Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik condoled the demise of veteran filmmaker and director Chakradhar Sahu who passed away today morning while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital here.
Naveen took to the Twitter and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

According to reports, Sahu was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and had been suffering from breathing problem for quite some time. He was undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital here and died this morning.
Sahu started his film career with “Nila Mastrani” in the year 1996 and was felicitated with Odisha State Film Award for Best Editor for the film.
His first commercial success came with “Tumaku Paruni Ta Bhuli” which was released in the year 2008. He was awarded Odisha State Film Award for Best Director for the movie. Later, he also went on to direct “Kebe Tume Nahan Kebe Mu Nahin”. His latest film ‘Meemansa’ was released in the year 2016.
