Naveen Announces 7 Days Relief For Families Of 128 Marooned Villages In Cyclone-Hit Dists

Bhubaneswar: In view of damages due to Cyclone Yaas, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday evening reviewed the post-cyclone situation in the state.

The Chief Minister announces 7 days relief for all families of 128 marooned villages of the cyclone-affected districts of the state.

While major roads will be restored for communication, 80% restoration of electricity supply will be done in affected districts in the next 24 hours, it was learned.

The Odisha CM congratulated all the Panchayat representatives, dist administration, community organisations, and police for their excellent work in the entire evacuation process.

The CM also thanked the Doctors and health workers for continuous health service in the affected districts during Cyclone Yaas.
