Puri: The mutilated body of a man was found under the Shree Setu bridge in Puri district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sudarshan Sahu (43) of Khandiabandh village was a tiffin shop owner near Market Chhack in Puri.
As per reports, Sahu had gone to Shree Setu with his friend for some work. However, he didn’t return home. He was allegedly stoned to death late on Tuesday night.
Though the reason behind his murder remains unclear, previous enmity is suspected to be the cause of the crime.
The Puri Town Police Station seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
