Koraput: A man from Jeypore of Koraput district has been arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Mumbai (Nagpur branch) in connection with a narcotics case.
The accused, Khagapati Pangi (45), was arrested under section 20/22 NDPS Act.
It is alleged that Pangi used to supply Ganja (Dry Cannabis) to Nagpur in huge quantities.
A team of the ATS led by Sub-Inspector Ashish Thakur along with local Sadar Police conducted a raid at Kalaguda village and arrested the accused. He has been taken to Nagpur for further investigation in the case.
