Bhubaneswar: A scooter-rider had a narrow escape after the vehicle he was riding on caught fire near RD Woman University under Saheed Nagar Police station limits in the state capital.
As per reports, the incident took place when the rider had gone to the fuel station where the staff informed him about the leakage in the fuel tank. However, he did not give any importance to it.
Later, while returning suddenly the two-wheeler caught fire. The rider immediately ran away leaving the vehicle on the spot.
On being informed, the police along with the firefighters reached the spot and doused the flame.
