New Delhi: Motorola will launch its flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge+, in India today.
The smartphone will be directly unveiled on Flipkart at 12:00PM.
The Lenovo-owned company launched two smartphones in its 2020 flagship Edge series dubbed Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+ last month. The Edge+ is company’s top-of-the-line flagship with Snapdragon 865, 108-megapixel camera, curved OLED display and 5G.
The Motorola Edge+ runs on stock Android 10, and retains the 3.5mm audio jack.
The phone runs on stock Android 10, and features a curved 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. Internal UFS 3.0 storage is at 256GB. There is no option to expand it further using a microSD card slot.
As for the optics, the Motorola Edge+ has a 108-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree field of view, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera that comes with OIS support and provides 3x optical zoom output. There is an additional Time of Flight (ToF) sensor as well. Up front, there is a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Motorola Edge+ comes equipped with 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The phone supports an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity is handled by 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging tech. Both phones feature 5G support and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
