Moto G42 Launched In India: Price, Specifications
New Delhi: After launching the Moto G42 in the global markets, Motorola has launched the Moto G42 smartphone in India today. The Moto G42 is a mid-range smartphone with a 6.47-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB of RAM, and packs 64GB of internal storage. Read on to know more about the latest launched smartphone.

The Moto G42 is priced in India at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone comes in Atlantic Green and Metallic Rosé colours and will go on sale via Flipkart as well as select retail stores in the country starting July 11.

The Moto G42 packs a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone measures 160.61×73.47×8.26mm and weighs 174.5 grams.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device runs Android 12 and features a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel shooter with an f/1.8 lens. Other back cameras on the device include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide ultra-wide and depth shooter and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
For selfies, the device comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.2 lens. The Moto G42 comes with 64GB of onboard uMCP storage and supports expansion via a microSD card (up to 1TB) through a dedicated slot.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Moto G42 packs dual stereo speakers and comes with support for Dolby Atmos. The phone is IP52-rated for added water resistance.
