Monsoon To Hit Odisha In Next 2-3 Days: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday said that the monsoon is likely to reach parts of Odisha in the next two to three days.

According to the IMD official, the monsoon has advanced into some parts of Maharashtra, most parts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and some areas in Bihar today.

It is expected to touch some parts of Odisha by June 15 and June 16, said the IMD.

While southern districts of Odisha are likely to receive rainfall first, hot and humid conditions will prevail in the state till June 14-15.
