Modi removed anti-corruption clause from Rafale deal, says Rahul Gandhi


New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has removed the anti-corruption clause from the Rafale jet deal.

He said:“Every Defence deal has an anti-corruption clause. Media reports said that the Prime Minister removed the anti-corruption clause. It is clear that the Prime Minister facilitated the loot.”

Rahul, who attended Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s day-long hunger strike against the central government, said Prime Minister Modi has got no credibility left.

The Andhra chief minister who is observing a day-long hunger strike said: “Modi is acting shameless and egotistically. He said Modi is unfit to rule the country.

Naidu said rulers should keep in mind the aspirations of people and added that the fight is for five crore people of Andhra Pradesh.
