Bhubaneswar: While reports of usage of mobile phones surfaced in Jharpada jail, the Call Details Record (CDR) have now revealed the mystery behind the incidents.
According to available information, the cops found a mobile phone from behind a cell of the notorious criminal Tito during a surprise raid. Following this, a complaint was filed at the Laxmisagar police station and the CDR record was ordered from the Telecom Company.
As per reports, Jail department IG, Himanshu, got information that the criminals were planning to handle the crime acts through the phone in the jail and also warned the suspecting notorious criminal Tito and D-Brothers to follow the rules in the jail premises.
Later, on may 5 Tito was shifted to Berhampur circle jail.
According to CDR reports, it reveals that the senior officer is involved in this matter and soon a strict action will be taken against the officer involved in this regard, sources said.
