Jeypore: In a bid to review the implementation of ‘Mo Sarkar’ scheme in the State, three senior IAS officers are on a day’s visit to Koraput, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur districts today.
According to sources, National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Director Shalini Pandit, Finance Principal Secretary Ashok Meena and State’s 5T Secretary V K Pandian have visited Koraput, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur districts to review healthcare facilities and infrastructures in state-run hospitals.
The special aircraft carrying the officials landed at around 9.30 am here. They left for Malkangiri and Nabarangpur soon after.
The officials reviewed the functioning of various district wings in addition to to the issues relating to Jeypore airport and district health care services. Pandian also directed the district officials to undertake proper execution of the programme in the district.
District Collector Madhusudan Mishra, Sub-collector Lokanath Dalabehera and other senior officials were present at the review meeting.
It is pertinent to mention here, the Government of Odisha has launched ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti this year to make the governance people-centric.
