Bolangir: A youth who went missing yesterday was found hanging from a tree in Sarmuhan village under Patnagarh police limits in Bolangir district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Meher. His family members lodged his missing report at the police station yesterday.

Locals first noticed his dead body hanging from a Mahul tree and informed the police about this. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the scene and seized the body for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
